Vijay Sings a Melody Song with Shreya Ghoshal

Illayathalapathy Vijay’s has sung a melody number for his upcoming movie Jilla. Recently Vijay has sung chart-busters like Google Google from Thuppaki and Vaangana Vanakangana from Thalaiva.

Now Vijay recently recorded a melody number for his upcoming film Jilla, which has music by D Imman. The song is duet number and Vijay has Sung it with Shreya Ghoshal.

D Imman said, “I’d recorded this track and given it to Vijay more than a month ago. He listened to it several times, because he wanted to practise the tune, which will be his first pure melody in Tamil cinema. After recording Shreya Ghoshal’s lines for it, we got Ilayathalapathy to come in on Sunday and recorded his voice in a session that lasted many hours. He was very reticent about singing a melody number, but we’re very happy with the way it’s come out. It has a lot of folk elements too as Jilla is set against the Madurai backdrop.”
