Vijay sir gives much inportance to his fans says Sathish

       Ethir neechal fame Sathish has opened up his working experience with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Kaththi. He narrates an interesting incident which happened in shooting spot. There is a friend of mine who is a ardent fan of Vijay sir. During his birthday i said to Vijay sir about him. And immediately he told me to make a call for my friend and he personally wished him and my friend was very happy.
      Vijay sir even called me for a lunch in his home. His wife Sangeetha anni herself made the lunch and I felt very happy to have it.
      In the shooting spot i apologised Vijay sir in case he did any mistake on the sets without his knowledge. Vijay sir hugged me and said you brightened up the sets everytime and you really made everyone happy.

Kaththi Villain's work out for the movie

     Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Samantha starrer Kaththi movie is gearing up very fast to its completion. And the movie's audio launch is said to be released in september.

     Neil Nitin Mukesh is playing the lead antagonist's role and in a recent interview to news agency IANS, he spoke in detail about his role in the movie and his experience with A.R.Murugadoss and Vijay.

      And what he say is for Kaththi, he had gone back to the days of ‘Johnny Gaddar’, which is an inspiration for his look in the film. He shed about 10 and a half kgs for Kaththi and reduced about four and a half inches on the waist. He wants the puffiness on his face to go down, so that he could look leaner and sharper.

     And he adds that it’s not a typical villain role. I play an extremely polished character, a north Indian who speaks Tamil, well read and foreign-returned. As a villain, I don’t fight the hero with physical power, but with intelligence. I think these qualities make my role scarier because it’s not easy to tackle someone who is villainous and intelligent at the same time. These layers of shades attracted me to the role

Kaththi on its 50% completion

      Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay's Kaththi is currently being shot in Chennai at night, as the team continues to work with planning and precision towards a Diwali release this year-end. About 50 to 55% of the movie is complete and the team will go about the remaining shooting schedules in Hyderabad, other parts of Andhra and also back home in Chennai. 

    One or two of the songs will also be shot in exotic foreign locales.

    Kaththi's music would be launched in a grand manner but the team hasn't fixed the venue and other details yet. Anirudh has completed composing 4 songs and Vijay will be crooning a song for the album in the coming days.

Anirudh about Kaththi

       Kaththi is definitely the most expected among my upcoming projects. I always put in equal efforts for all my projects and the same applies to Kaththi. Such a big project has happened so soon to me and I am making sure that the album will satisfy Vijay Sir's mass base and also general music lovers. Director Murugadoss has given me complete creative freedom and I am inspired to give my best. It's a good challenge and I am sure that Kaththi will be one of the best albums. 2 songs from the movie have already been shot. There are a total of 5 songs and a rocking theme track in the film. I and Aadhi have lent the vocals for Vijay Sir's intro number in the film. And yes, we are definitely planning to have Vijay Sir sing for the album.

Huge set is getting ready for Kaththi Climax

      The Thuppakki duo reunion has kicked off huge buzz in Kollywood. The shooting schedule in Hyderabad has been completed and makers will next move on to Chennai shoot schedule in next few days. Ilayathalapathy plays dual role with Samantha playing the female lead. The latest info on Kaththi is that the makers are erecting a  huge set for the climax shoot on par with the Hollywood standards and sources add the set is being constructed at a cost of one crore. The first look of the film is expected to be out on Tamil New Year's day while the teaser of the film is anticipated on Independence day. The film itself is a Diwali release.

Samantha's impression over Vijay

      Samantha Ruth Prabhu was absolutely bowled over by Vijay's simplicity in recent shooting schedule in Hyderabad.

    Kaththi song schedule was happening in a very hot Hyderabad climate and Sam had this to say on Vijay "Summer was really hot in Hyderabad and Vijay didn't ask for a fan to cool down, He was also holding an umbrella by himself without asking any of his fans of staff to hold it for him. I was amazed by his simplicity and his down to earth mentality."

        Samantha went to add that this was the best crew she has ever worked with.

A.R.M's condition to Anirudh for Vijay's 57th movie

      Director A.R.Murugadoss revealed few intresting tit-bits on what he wanted Anirudh to do for Vijay 57 at the music launch of Maan Karate, "When i met Anirudh for Vijay 57, I laid down one condition to him, which was to incorporate all the fresh ideas for compositions for Vijay 57 album, Whatever idea popped up to him even during of other movie compositions i told him to keep it secret and use it for Vijay 57 instead, But after listening to Maan Karate audio i feel he has done everything i liked in this album too and i want him to even better this album for Vijay 57". A.R.M also added that Anirudh had already composed one song for Vijay 57 which has been shot (Chennai Airport) and another song is in composition. Ayngaran and Lyca are jointly producing Vijay 57 which has officially announced as the most expensive film of Vijay's career till date.

Director Shankar about his favourite movie Thuppaki

 

Director Shankar who is currently busy into the post production of his Magnum opus Ai found some time to grace the Maan Karate audio launch which happened yesterday.

Director Shankar who spoke at the launch said he was huge fan of A.R.Murugadoss's Thuppaki with Ilayathalapathy and it revealed it was also his favourite movie. Shankar went on add that he admired A.R.M's writing skills and said he was a fan of Anirudh's compositions.

Director Murugadoss confirms that Vijay's 57th movie will be a Diwali treat

     After completing successive schedules in Kolkata, Rajahmundry Andhra and in Chennai, the team of 'Vijay 57' are currently cooling their heels thanks to a little schedule break. The next schedule which happens to be the fourth, will happen in Hyderabad and the total filming is expected to carry on till July / August. If all goes well, the film will hit the screens for Diwali just like the earlier Vijay - Murugadoss offering Thuppakki which was a Diwali 2012 special. Vijay has already had a release this Pongal with Jilla and even in 2012, he had a release for Pongal in the form of Nanban. 2012 was really special for the Ilayathalapathy as both his Pongal and Diwali releases got him a very good name. Will 2014 follow suit and prove to be equally special for Vijay?

The song on Vijay's voice will be best song of the year says Ajith

     Ajith's prediction on Vijay's song. "Vanganna Vanakkanganna' is the song crooned by actor Vijay for his penultimate film Thalaiva. The song was a super hit like any other song sung by the actor. Now there is some interesting news about the song shared by the film's director A.L.Vijay Vijay debuted with the film Kireedom that had Ajith playing the lead role. The director and the actor share a good rapport from till date and Ajith is will be the first person to watch Vijay's films and share his comments. In fact, Madarasapattinam directed by Vijay is one of the favorite Tamil films of Ajith. When Ajith and Vijay were shooting for their respective films Arrambam and Thalaiva in Mumbai, director Vijay had visited AJith and played him the song sung by Ilayathalabathi Vijay. Thala was really impressed by the song and had predicted that the song will be a super hit. And the star's prediction did not go wrong.

Story that was leaked about Vijay's 57th movie was not true says A.R.Murugadoss

      Director AR Murugadoss has stated that Tota Roy Chowdhry is not the main villain of his upcoming film starring Vijay and Samantha, as is being widely reported. The Bengali actor went to town recently stating that he was the antagonist and that he had shot extensively for the role in Kolkata. He also opened a can of worms by almost completely revealing the film’s storyline, which apparently irked its makers. When we contacted Murugadoss, he said, “Tota is not the main villain; we are still on the look-out for a person who would fit the antagonist’s role. As we shot in Kolkata for a few days, we wanted a person who could film for a few chase sequences there and so roped in Tota, a Bengali actor.” 

     What about the film’s storyline, which Tota has explicitly revealed? “We’re not perturbed about it, as that is not the actual story. The storyline is very different,”. Added that they were currently shooting in Rajahmundry.

      STR aka Silambarasan is a well known Ajith fan. Right from Manmadhan days he has never shied away from expressing his admiration towards Ajith and has always referred to him as 'Thala' the word used by every Ajith fan on earth. In his interview to a popular daily, Simbu has spoken in detail, on what made him an Ajith fan. "I am primarily an ardent movie buff. Acting and star status come next to that. It is Ajith's personality that has inspired me after Rajini. My father's film Monisha En Monalisa in which I acted released on a day when Rajni Sir's film also released. I went to Rajni sir's film FDFS with friends and watched it blowing whistles. There is no wonder in Ajith coming after Rajni, to a position that deserves the whistle of the fan in Simbu. Because, Ajith is a hero in real life as well. His Good character has always inspired me towards him. While seeing Ajith, I feel like seeing myself in a different age".

     After heaping laurels on Ajith's real life persona, the young star is quick to add that with these words one should not conclude that he hates Vijay. Simbu has clearly stated that he always has a respect towards 'Vijay Anna'.

Today I finally reveal the mystery behind the 'Thenali' movie title.

Not many know that 'Thenali' title was given by Superstar Rajnikanth himself, he had asked me not to disclose this to anyone till the completion and release of the movie. 

At the 175 days celebrations when Rajni Sir came to give away awards the secret was finally revealed. Kamal Haasan had no clue about this till the 175 days celebration, he was pretty astonished when he heard this.

Thenali, was my first movie as a Producer. I was so lucky to have my first movie as a producer titled by Rajni Sir.

I still remember this incident so clearly. During the shooting of Minsara Kanna, the famous song from Padaiyappa I decided "Minsara Kanna" will be the title of my next fiml with Vijay. I asked Rajini sir's permission as the song was picturized on him, he happily agreed and said that it was a perfect and apt title for Vijay's film. This picture was taken at "Minsara Kanna" movie muhurtam, Super Star Rajini graced the occasion. What an encouraging man!

Vijay and A.R.Murugadoss salary for Vijay's 57th movie

      Vijay 57 directed by A.R.Murugadoss is currently progressing at a very rapid pace.  The movie which witnesses the reunion of Thupakki combo has Samantha in the lead role with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music. The movie which is co produced by Lyca productions and Ayngaran International has officially been announced as the most expensive movie in Vijay's career. Sources add the movie's budget is over 100 crores. A leading tamil magazine also reported the salary of Ilayathalapathy Vijay and A.R.Murugadoss for this project, According to the magazine Vijay's salary is 22 crores while A.R.Murugadoss has received a salary of 18 crores
