Vijay's Thuppakki to Represent Tamil Cinema in 100 Years of Indian Cinema

Indian cinema is celebration its 100 years and Russia all set to host a grand film festival for Indian cinema. Russia will host a film festival in December 2013, to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema in which land mark Indian film will be screened.Three Tamil films has been selected for the screening at Russian film festival. The three movie that would be screened are Vijay’s blockbuster Thuppakki directed by AR Murugadoss, Kamal’s Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu directed by Gautham Menon and Dhanush’s Aadukalam directed by Vetri Maaran.It is still unclear that Vijay along with AR Murugadoss will attend the film screen in Russia or not. Thuppakki released in 2012 featured Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles. The movie went on to become the highest grosser of 2012 and also the film is Vijay’s biggest hit in his career.
