Vijay requested the director to carry Mohanlal's name first

     The crew of Jilla had been thinking about the placement of names of Vijay and Mohanlal on the title card. 

     First, Mohanlal called up the director and asked him to take Vijay's name first as Vijay is a bigger star in Tamil Nadu. However, Vijay requested the director to carry Mohanlal's name first, reasoning that with 35 years of experience in the film industry, the veteran's name should naturally be placed first.

     Director of the movie Nesan has now confirmed that Yes, Mohanlal's name will appear first on the title card before Vijay's name.
